My little baby is growing up....I hate this part so much. Amirah is all smiles, and starting to coo. She is just too darn cute! I love her little voice. I had her in the Dr's yesterday for a horrible rash and she is already 9 pounds, its sad but I guess they all have to grow up sometime.
...I asked Tessa the other day what kind of party she would like suggesting Barney princess doggy, and every time I get the same answer. Choo choo. So we are having a Thomas the train party, my next hurtle is a present for her. I have no clue what to get her.
...I have decided way too late that I am going to start going to garage sales, Ryan got Tessa and Amirah(shes way too small) but two barbie power wheels for thirty dollars for the pair and they came with the charger! She was so excited...she needs a little work but is getting the hang of it

Just Nuts

It always happens, our days are so buys, I don't even get a minuet to sit down. I love my life, but life with a two year old and 5 week old is very busy. Potty training is going great, she really loves her big girl underwear. Once she wakes up, she can't wait to take her diaper off and put underwear on.
Amirah is getting so big its sad,especially with dad not seeing her since she was born its really killing me. Just watching her is so awesome. She stares at you and can really see your face now, and she just loves to be talked to. Shes my little squishy.
I am so ready for fall, not the real cold weather but the cooler, I went and got my candles, I think its more of the smell that I'm ready for, but I also cant wait to decorate the outside of the house.
I'm still putting a lot of thought into Tessa's birthday, I cant figure out what theme I want to do, but more importantly I can't figure out what to get her. She has so much already but its also time to move up in age range.

Too Cute!

Crazy days at our house...It seems like we are never home, and Tessa just doesn't have the time to relax and be carefree. I cant resist I just thought it was too cute! Once again getting ready for a busy crazy day of being gone, I'm upstairs doing my thing and Tessa is in the hallway nice and quiet, and everyone knows when a two year old is quiet its usually nothing good. I peek around the doorway and she is sitting on the floor just in her undies with a baby doll up to her chest. She is trying to nurse the baby! Too stinking cute! I couldn't help but laugh, and she got her little smirk on her face.
On a very good note we finally got a family meeting with the Dr, for dad! When I say family meeting I can finally say it was only the 4 of us! No aunts or Rose. I wouldn't have minded Ashley, Ryan or Tom but finally no Rose or Aunts! The meeting went so good. I was feeling so down in the dumps over everything yesterday, and today have such a renewing in my strength and faith.

What a day...

Our day was full to the max...poor puppies were home all day to fend for themselves. We started our fun day at Fisher Price, oh how I love that place, but we walked out with nothing:( and I had to drop off the bouncy chair we were testing for the new line coming out next year...poor Amirah loved it too. In the mean time we get more bad news from the Dr's saying dad is in a vegetative state, I am not losing faith, even though a lot of family has. So we are meeting tomorrow, I'm so sick of these meetings****sigh****
Off to toys r us and babies r us Miss Amirah got some new Binky's, with a 15% off coupon I had, and a new bouncy seat with another 15% coupon, and Tessa got a cool barbie guitar for being such a big girl going on the potty.
Big decisions have to be made, I can't believe Tessa will be two in three weeks! I'm trying to figure out what kind of party theme to have I know she would love Barney but ugh I would like something cute and fancy, I should probably think of what she would like and not me...I'm still trying to get over the fact that my baby is going to be TWO

Where has time gone???

Today was day two of potty training Tessa, and after two accidents in the morning I was ready to throw in the towel and call it quits, but after a nice tubby she was refreshed and ready to take charge of that potty! The three big tests still are ahead but I was proud only two accident by three o'clock.
Daddy came home around three thirty and off we went for test number one, after a good 5 years I finally picked out new glasses, and no accident from Tessa, she actually went in her potty chair in the car...no accident at grandpas or at church while we were praying for papa!
8:30 and we finally got home, I was upstairs feeding Amirah and Ryan was outside, he walked into Tessa with her undies off and sitting on her potty with a big smile on her face! she went pee in her potty without being told or asked! She was so darn proud of herself and we were very proud too! My baby isn't a baby anymore, no more diapers for her!
As for Miss Amirah, there isnt much to say about her besides she is such a good baby! You barley ever hear a cry from her, and she is such a good sleeper

Where has time gone.?.?.?

It seems life forever ago that Tessa was born...its so sad shes almost two and a very independent two year old at that. Today is day two of potty training, I was completely ready to throw in the towel, but once she had her second accident and a tubby she was refreshed and ready to go.

Lunchtime came and went with no accidents, we were getting ready for the big test...Mommy's turn to pick glasses, and going into a place with a little girl with undies on what the heck is going to happen? NO accidents, and when we left she even went in her potty in the car! So off to grandpas and no accidents and then to pray for papa and still no accidents.

Around 8:30 we are finally home I was upstairs feeding Miss Amirah and daddy was outside, he walks in to see Tessa sitting on her potty and yes there is pee in it, she was totally ready to be trained my independent big Attitude princess just went on the potty without being told and was so proud of herself!
